Meet Chef Arlando
Arlando, a self-taught chef from Columbus, GA, brings more than 16 years of culinary experience to his craft. His passion for food began at home, cooking alongside his family and exploring flavors that would later shape his signature style.
He took his first professional step in a Japanese steakhouse, where he immersed himself in Asian cuisine and refined his skills under the guidance of experienced chefs. This early training sparked his love for blending cultures through food.
Specializing in Asian-Soul fusion, Arlando has spent the past 12 years sharing his creativity and dedication with Aramark at Columbus State University. His dishes reflect a respect for tradition, a focus on fresh flavors, and a personal mission to create food that feels like home with a unique twist.
